In order for the child to attend kindergarten with pleasure, you should help him adapt in an unfamiliar place and establish contact with peers.
Instructions
Step 1
Choose the right time to send your baby to kindergarten for the first time or transfer him to another group. For a child to adapt as quickly as possible, he must be absolutely healthy. If your child is worried about something, put off going to kindergarten for a while. A healthy baby is much easier to tolerate any changes and is more willing to make contact with peers.
Step 2
On the first day of the group visit, take your child to the garden for just a few hours. Babies, as a rule, find it difficult to be in an unfamiliar group, so try to increase the time of his stay in the kindergarten gradually. Translate it for a full day of visit only after a few days.
Step 3
Ask your provider for permission to be with the group for the first couple of days. During a joint visit to the kindergarten, try to introduce the baby to the rest of the children. Help him make contact. You can think of some interesting games that help you establish companionship. Your child must take part in the game.
Step 4
Be kind to the teacher, to the children's team. You can invite the teacher to conduct an interesting lesson or join the children for a walk. Your child will be much more comfortable in new conditions for him if he feels your support.
Step 5
Call your child by their first name as often as possible, and feel free to ask other children for names. This will allow children to remember each other faster. At home, talk to your baby about the new team as often as possible. Ask him with whom you have already managed to establish communication, and with whom you have not yet been able to make friends.
Step 6
If the child has any difficulties in communicating with the team, help him to overcome them. It will only strengthen your relationship.
Step 7
Have a small group party to celebrate your child's arrival. Ask your provider if you can bring sweet treats or if it's better to limit yourself to fruit.
