Many parents believe that it is necessary to prepare the child for school. But few people think that preparation for kindergarten is no less important. If you decide that the baby should go to the garden, try to prepare him and yourself for this event. It is best to do self-preparation 3-4 months in advance, so that the child's adaptation is less painful.
It is necessary
A little patience and advice from specialists (or experienced moms)
Instructions
Step 1
Tell your child what kindergarten is and why children are taken there. For example: “A kindergarten is a beautiful and large house where parents bring their children. There are many other kids who do everything together (walk, play, eat, etc.). You will really like it in kindergarten. Instead of a mother, there is a teacher who will take care of you. There are many toys in the garden that you can play with children, a good playground and a lot of interesting things. Do not forget to tell the baby why the mother has to take him to kindergarten (wants to go to work).
Step 2
Remind your child that he was lucky to get into kindergarten. Walk more often in the garden or near it, let the child see what is happening there.
Step 3
Tell your child more about the regime that is observed in kindergarten. What happens in what sequence. In kindergarten, children are usually afraid of the unknown, and when the child sees that everything is happening, as it was "promised" to him, he will be calm.
Step 4
Talk to your child about any difficulties that may occur to him. Tell him who to contact for help. For example: “If you want to use the toilet, come and tell the teacher about it,” etc. More often remind the baby that he will not be alone in the kindergarten, sometimes you will have to wait a little for him to pay attention.
Step 5
Teach your child to get to know other children, refer to them only by name. Tell your child how to behave in the garden (you cannot fight, call names, take and break toys, etc.).
Step 6
Let the child choose a toy as a companion, for going to kindergarten - it is much more fun together.
Step 7
Develop a simple system of farewell signs with your child, after which he will calmly go to the garden.
Step 8
Remember that a child's getting used to the garden can take a long time (up to six months), so calculate your strengths and capabilities. The main thing is not to panic so that your worries are not transmitted to the baby.
