It would seem that nothing complicated - to put on a diaper for a child. However, in practice, many newly-born parents, grandparents find it difficult to carry out this simple procedure: the diaper constantly gets lost and does not want to put on the baby in any way. To easily master the technique of changing a diaper, follow these guidelines.
Instructions
Step 1
On average, a diaper needs to be changed every 2, 5 - 3 hours, and always after the little one has gone "big". If necessary, before putting on a diaper, lubricate the child's skin with a special protective cream. Open the diaper and place it on the changing table in front of you. Then grab the baby's shins with one hand and lift his legs together with the butt, placing the opened diaper under the back with the other hand.
Step 2
Gently slide the top edge of the diaper under your baby's buttocks up to the waistline. Then pass the middle part of the diaper between the legs of the crumbs, and pull the bottom over his belly. The lower edge of the diaper should be at the knee level, if it is located higher, then the diaper is too small for the child.
Step 3
Now pull the side inserts lying on the table to the side. Smooth the upper part of the diaper over the baby's body under the side pockets. Connect the sides tightly with Velcro.
Step 4
Now check if the diaper is too tight on the baby's belly. Normally, the index finger should fit freely between the diaper and the child's belly. If this condition is not met, loosen the diaper slightly.
