Step 1
To obtain a certificate of state registration of the birth of a child, you must, within 1 month with these documents, appear at the territorial office of the registry office at the place of residence of the parents or at the place of birth of the child.

If the child's parents are legally married, then only one person can obtain a child's birth certificate, the presence of the second parent is not necessary in this case. In addition, it has recently been required to issue an insurance certificate of compulsory pension insurance for the child. To do this, one of the parents must come to the territorial body of the pension fund and fill out a questionnaire. You need to take with you documents proving the identity of the child and the parent (birth certificate and passport). Within three weeks after the application is accepted, the PFR staff will issue you a ready-made certificate of compulsory pension insurance.
