From the first months of life, a child must have several documents

Necessary

  • - medical birth certificate;
  • - mother's passport;
  • - father's passport;
  • - Marriage certificate;
  • - an extract from the house book or a certificate from the management organization about the registration of parents;
  • - birth certificate of the child.

Instructions

Step 1

When you are discharged from the maternity hospital, you must be given a medical certificate of the birth of your child. This document is valid for a month, and it contains the date of birth, gender, weight, height, information about the mother and who gave birth, but there is no, for example, the name and patronymic of the baby. However, not all babies are born in the hospital. If the child was born outside a medical institution in the presence of a private doctor, this doctor will issue a certificate. It may be that the baby was born at home, when there was no doctor or midwife, and the grandmother or father of the baby was next to the woman in labor. To be able to register a child, you need a statement from these people

Step 2

On the basis of a certificate from the maternity hospital, a birth certificate is issued. It is issued at the registry office. To get it, you need to submit an application, present, in addition to a medical certificate, parents' passports and a marriage certificate. If the marriage is not registered, you will need a certificate of establishment of paternity. In this case, both parents must be present at the registration of the baby. In the absence of such a certificate, information about the father is filled in on the basis of the mother's application. She has the right to refuse to provide such information.

Step 3

The child must be registered at the place of residence of one of the parents. This can be done at the passport office, multifunctional center, passport and accounting center - the procedure may differ in different municipalities. You must write an application, present your passport and baby's birth certificate, as well as a certificate stating that the baby is not registered in the second parent's apartment (if the parents are registered in different places). The consent of other people registered on the same living space is not required. The birth certificate is usually stamped.

Step 4

The kid also needs a medical insurance policy. You can get it from a compulsory health insurance company. Quite often, you can apply at the clinic at your place of residence. You may be immediately issued a permanent policy, but another procedure is also possible: first, a temporary policy is issued, and then a permanent one is issued.

Step 5

You can also issue a pension certificate (SNILS) and TIN for a baby. To obtain a pension certificate, contact your local Pension Fund office of the Russian Federation. The certificate is issued within a few days. TIN can be issued at the local branch of the IFTS.
