Having been born, a newborn from the first days begins to learn the world and objects around him, and later, tries to reach them and, thus, learns to roll over from back to stomach and back. But often at this stage he encounters difficulties. And in this case, in order to teach the baby to roll over, the help of the mother is needed.

Instructions

Step 1

Timely acquisition of new skills is a sign of normal physical development. However, a child is born with a weak osteoarticular and muscular system, so they need to be strengthened and developed. For this, give your baby daily massage, gymnastics, water procedures, arrange sun and air baths for him. These measures are the basis for the full physical development of the baby.

Step 2

Often, babies try to roll over or roll onto their backs in only one direction. But since the infant has a weak spine and is easily curved, it must be developed symmetrically. Therefore, in order to teach the baby to roll over equally in both directions, start performing special exercises from 3-4 months.

Step 3

In a prone position, hold it by the right arm and leg and gently turn it on its side and back. Do the opposite exercise in the same way. Next, make a smooth flip from back to side and then onto your stomach. Let him lie down for a few minutes and return him to his original position on his back. Do the same in both directions.

Step 4

In addition to gymnastics, you can teach the baby to roll over from back to stomach with the help of a bright toy, preferably with a soundtrack, so that it attracts more attention to itself. Show it first on one side and then on the other. Keep it at arm's length of the baby so that he can touch her.

Step 5

Next, bring the toy to the baby's left hand, and take it to the right side and watch his reaction. If he reaches for her, continue on. If not, then at this stage developmental exercises are enough. But keep doing them daily while your baby is awake. And as soon as he begins to reach for the toy, help him and slightly pull on the left handle to roll over to the right side and vice versa.

Step 6

To teach the baby to roll over from belly to back, also show him a bright toy. Bring it to the right and slowly take it back. Reaching for it, the baby will roll over.
