Step 1
Make a list of the main psychological characteristics of the child. Write down what his usual mood is, whether it changes and for what reasons. Does the child differ in mobility, sociability, does he feel equally free in the society of peers and adults? Is his behavior characterized by poise, restraint, is he polite in communication, is he able to solve problems in words, without getting involved in scandals and fights.
Step 2
Describe the child's learning activities. Indicate the duration of schooling, the level of knowledge, their consistency and strength. Draw a line of performance, find out what might be the reasons for its unevenness.
Step 3
Write down whether the student is aware of his responsibilities, whether he has an interest in learning (in which subjects), how the teachers evaluate his educational activity, what is the child's self-esteem, what is his motivation. Indicate the features of the processes of memory, thinking, perception, speech of the child, the degree of formation of the ability to learn, build your work, control yourself. Expand details about the child's work life. Does he participate in various types of socially useful events, is he distinguished by hard work, how quickly his interests are changing.
Step 4
Start writing a general description. Here you need to indicate what is the discipline of the child, his reaction to the comments of adults, emotional vulnerability, what place he occupies in the classroom (formal or informal leadership, the position of “subordinate”, etc.), initiative, cooperation in group work.
Step 5
Write recommendations for teachers who will work with your child in the future. Explain what you need to pay attention to first, what methods of education and training are suitable for him.
