Divorce is a painful process for all family members. Adults are going through a difficult period, accompanied by clarification of relationships, division of property, mental breakdowns. Children turn into involuntary slaves of such actions and are left alone with their inner anxieties.

The relationship between each parent and child is the foundation for minimizing the risk of developing psychological problems. Age plays a key role in responding to the circumstances of divorce.

Children over the age of fourteen, like everyone else, experience stress and painfully endure everything in the current environment. Parents, on the other hand, think otherwise, considering them old enough, and do not give them the proper attention. At this age, the formation of adolescents' attitude towards the opposite sex takes place, a model of further behavior in family life is formed. You should not push children away, throw out negativity on them and leave them alone. Both parents need to talk to their children, listen to their thoughts and opinions, and be sure to make it clear that mom and dad will still equally remain in his life.

The most difficult relationship is with children between the ages of six and fourteen. A child accustomed to living in a complete family undergoes the strongest experiences and clearly feels the guilt of the parents. This translates into a lever of manipulation, because the child loses the feeling of love and wants to bring everything back. The situation becomes more dangerous when children begin to blame themselves, they can in this state cause themselves enormous harm, both physical and psychological. Separate parents should bring their time with their children as close as possible to the time when they were married. So the child realizes that the love of the parents does not depend on external factors.

Children under the age of six do not react sharply to divorce, since they are not able to fully assess what is happening. Babies will feel a sense of anxiety and a little discomfort, but with the correct attitude of the parents, this can be completely ruled out.

No matter how old the child is, it is required to categorically refrain from imposing a negative opinion about the former partner. Tolerance and respect for each other should be shown in order to educate a harmonious personality with correct moral values.
