On loved ones, they often break down for a bad mood or failure. But at the same time, they are least of all protected from such attacks and very often they are not guilty of anything. How to protect them from themselves, try not to upset or offend?

Instructions

Step 1

Keep negative emotions to yourself. When you come home after a hard and stressful day at work, leave all bad thoughts outside the door. This does not mean that you cannot share your problems with loved ones or ask for advice. Just don’t jump at them for insults at work, school, quarrels or conflicts that have arisen. Finding that the apartment is not cleaned, make a comment only for this, and do not shout and do not remember all past affairs in order to throw out the accumulated negative emotions. This can be very offensive.

Step 2

Take care of the people close to you and help them. Perhaps, except for you, they simply have no one to turn to. At the same time, do not forget to take the initiative, because sometimes relatives are simply embarrassed to ask for something, fearing to hear a refusal in response or an offensive phrase that you already have a lot to do.

Step 3

Make time for them. Call your loved ones as often as possible, or even better - meet and communicate. Sometimes all you need is to ask about business and health, have a heart-to-heart chat or tell something everyday about yourself.

Step 4

Respect your family and friends. Remember that everyone is entitled to their opinion and personal time. Do not swear or punish them for their decisions. This is especially true for children who sometimes do not want to follow your advice, for example, in choosing a future profession, life partner, or even ordinary circles. In such a situation, the best thing to do is to give good advice.

Step 5

Listen to the opinions of loved ones. Despite the fact that you have long considered yourself independent and all-knowing about life, good advice has not hurt anyone yet. Moreover, the parent. Even if you do not follow it, it is still worth paying attention to it. Perhaps this will allow you to look at some situation from the other side. Remember that loved ones give you advice not because they think you are stupid and mediocre, but because they love and worry about you in any situation.
