Hobbies and leisure activities of children also have little resemblance to what the kids of the previous generation did. But there are still moments that remain similar. These are role-playing games for children.

Step 1
Modern kids still play "mothers and daughters", doctors and teachers, present themselves as salesmen or celebrities. But if parents understand everyday activities and professions, then why children want to play "celebrities" is puzzling for adults. Adults forget how much they wanted everyone's attention in childhood.
Step 2
Thanks to the TV that is constantly working in many apartments, children draw a lot of knowledge from there. And, of course, the child pays attention to what celebrities are shown on TV: a concert or other performance, a lot of spectators, everyone's attention and the success of a famous person. Even a small child is able to appreciate the beauty of a particular celebrity, his clothes, car and other components of success and recognition. Thus, the child has an idol.
Step 3
The child wants to be like the person he admires. And not only in order to just be the same, but also wants everything around him to be the same. At first, this is expressed in the desire to perform in front of the audience, at least even at home. The kid learns a rhyme or song, gathers more family members and “speaks”. Everyone claps and smiles at him, and the child feels the attention that he saw on TV. True, somewhat on a smaller scale.
Step 4
Then the child invites his friends to play "celebrities" in the yard, the children take turns performing, fantasizing about what kind of hall is around them, what car they arrived in and what beautiful outfits they were wearing. Children's imagination is able to supplement the missing components of the success that the kid saw in the celebrity.
Step 5
Another way a child might present themselves as a celebrity at an older age is to behave in a similar manner, to want to wear similar clothes, and to mimic the performance. As they get older, children do not just watch TV with performances of an idol, they can search for various information about a celebrity, buy magazines with his interviews and photos. This can be expressed in the fact that the child wants to buy certain clothes or do a certain hairstyle.
Step 6
All these imitations and games are quite normal, because the child has not yet found his own "I", he is trying to be like someone, in his opinion, cool, successful and beautiful. Parents should just not lose sight of this, so that such imitation does not go too far. And in order for the child to have enough of his own attention, adults should focus on his achievements, his own successes and talents. Then the games "celebrity" will be abandoned, and the child will take up his further development.
