In every child's life, going to school is an exciting and turning point. To enroll in an educational institution, you must collect a certain package of documents.
It is necessary
- - originals of documents;
- - photocopies of some documents;
- - application.
Instructions
Step 1
Each school has its own requirements for the list of documents that parents must provide for enrolling a preschooler in an educational institution. But there is a single list of documents that will be required everywhere.
Step 2
At school, when submitting documents, the parent or legal representative of the future student writes an application addressed to the director. It must be accompanied by the original birth certificate and two photocopies of it, the parent's passport, copies from the citizenship insert and the health insurance policy. Some schools may require a Form 9 registration certificate. Also, the package of documents includes a medical card with a freshly passed medical examination and a certificate in form No. 63 on preventive vaccinations, but they can be brought later.
Step 3
The school secretary accepts the application with the necessary papers and issues a coupon. It contains the application number, date, school phone number for communication and a list of documents provided. The ticket must be signed by the secretary and stamped by the school.
Step 4
It should be remembered that, according to the law, preschoolers who live in the territory assigned to it are the first to be admitted to school. If the school is located in a different area, you need to wait for August 1st. After this date, schools accept all children who wish, subject to availability of classrooms. The advantages of entering the desired school are future first-graders who have completed preparatory courses there, and children whose older brothers or sisters are already studying at this educational institution.
Step 5
Some specialized educational institutions conduct various exams, tests or interviews before entering the first grade. By law, their results should not affect enrollment. Such tests help shape classes with a specific teaching bias. A school that specializes in advanced language learning may require you to bring a certificate from a speech therapist.
Step 6
The school refuses to admit a child to the first grade if there are no vacant places and the address at the place of residence is not assigned to this educational institution. Also, age can serve as a refusal. The future first grader on September 1 should be exactly 6, 5 years old. Many school teachers recommend going through a psychologist to determine the child's readiness for school.
Step 7
Acceptance of documents in schools in many regions of Russia starts from February 1 and runs until August 31. Many schools have online enrollment over the Internet.
