Since 2007, the law on federal maternity capital came into force, and since 2013, most constituent entities of the Russian Federation have adopted laws on regional maternity capital.
Since 2013, many Russian families can receive regional maternity capital for the birth (adoption) of a third or subsequent children. Regional capital is paid out in a lump sum. Regional capital payments
The amount of payments for regional maternity capital varies from 50 to 150 thousand rubles. The Smolensk Region pays 150 thousand rubles to large families. 100 thousand rubles are paid in the Tambov, Voronezh, Rostov, Moscow regions and Kaliningrad. In Adygea, Buryatia, Altai, Chelyabinsk, Ivanovo, Vladimir and Ryazan regions, families have the opportunity to receive 50 thousand rubles.
In Altai, Voronezh and Rostov regions, an annual indexation of regional maternity capital is provided.
The amount of payments and the conditions for their issuance are also influenced by the socio-demographic situation of the region. For example, in Dagestan and Kabardino-Balkaria, regional capital is issued only after the birth of the fifth child. In Dagestan, 10 thousand rubles are paid for the birth of the fifth and each subsequent child, and 300 thousand rubles for the birth of the tenth and each subsequent child. And in Kabardino-Balkaria, a family receives 250 thousand rubles from the local authorities for every fifth or subsequent child.
What can you spend your capital on
In general, the options for using regional capital echo the federal family capital. But individual regions are expanding this list. Families get the opportunity to use funds for repairs, gasification of housing or engineering communications, for the treatment of a child or sanatorium and health recreation.
In Kaliningrad, the funds received can also be used to buy a car or furniture.
How to get regional maternity capital
To obtain regional maternity capital, you must contact the local authorities for social protection of the population. The list of documents depends on the terms of use of payments. An identity card of a mother (father) with many children, documents proving the identity of all family members (passports, birth certificates) are invariably presented.
As a rule, the family must prove by documents their intention to use the money for the purposes stipulated by the law. Or report back after receiving the payment.
