Step 1
If you suspect that you are pregnant, or you are sure that you will soon become a mother, contact an antenatal clinic or one of the private medical clinics. The doctor will examine you and, if your assumptions are confirmed, will offer you to register. Please note that observation in a public medical institution, unlike a private one, will be completely free for you.
Step 2
You can register for pregnancy not only in the antenatal clinic at your place of residence, but also in a clinic in another district or even in a medical institution in another city. Modern legislation allows pregnant women to be seen wherever they wish. At the same time, keep in mind that it is better to choose exactly the antenatal clinic that you attended before, since important information is stored in your medical record.
Step 3
In order for you to be registered with the medical institution of your choice, take your passport and compulsory health insurance policy with you. Without these documents, the doctor will not even be able to see you. According to the existing legislation, in the absence of a medical policy, only emergency assistance can be provided to a patient.
Step 4
Make sure that the compulsory health insurance policy is valid, it contains the correct registration address. Change the document if necessary. This will not be difficult to do.
Step 5
If you have photocopies from the medical records of those institutions in which you were previously observed, take them with you. The doctor may need this information. Be sure to take a coupon with the results of fluorography, if any. The doctor will paste it into the exchange card or rewrite all the necessary data there.
Step 6
If your pregnancy was planned, and before its occurrence you had some tests, take extracts with their results to see a doctor. If the research was done very recently, the doctor will credit it. At the same time, you will not need to take tests again.
Step 7
Be sure to bring a clean diaper, shoe covers or slippers, and sterile disposable gloves to your appointment. Before registering you, the doctor will have to examine you and take a smear for tests.
