For disadvantaged families, assistance from the state is provided today. The main thing is to know how to get this help, what documents are needed for this, and where to apply for these benefits.
Instructions
Step 1
In Russia today, the number of poor people is not only not decreasing, but even increasing, despite the growth of the economy. In these conditions, people are forced to look for ways to somehow survive. That is why the topic “how to live for a poor family” remains relevant.
Step 2
For your family to be recognized as low-income, prepare a passport and a copy of it, copies of marriage certificates, birth certificates, and ownership of an apartment.
Step 3
Obtain a certificate of family composition from the passport office (valid for 1 month), take at work (or from the State Employment Service) a certificate of income for the previous 3 months.
Step 4
If one of the spouses is registered in another district of the city, take a certificate from the social security committee about non-receipt of benefits that you want to apply, and also open a savings account in the Savings Bank of your area and photograph a copy of its first page.
Step 5
Take all the above-mentioned copies and originals of documents with you when you are going to the district committee for social protection of the population to register the status of the poor. Some of the documents may be needed immediately, and some later.
Step 6
Keep in mind that families with low incomes are entitled to receive targeted social assistance, subsidies for preferential payments for housing and other utilities, as well as, if there are children in the family, to a monthly allowance for them. Each benefit is issued separately.
Step 7
In addition, in a number of emergencies, such as a sudden illness or the death of a close relative, your family is entitled to more substantial targeted assistance than usual.
Step 8
If there are children under the age of 3 in the family, your child is going to go to kindergarten or school, then take care of the paperwork for receiving free food in the dairy kitchen, for benefits when paying for kindergarten, as well as free meals at school.
Step 9
If you have children under the age of 6 in your family, you have the right to receive medication for the child free of charge. In some regions, there are also benefits for the purchase of a voucher to a children's camp. Ask the social welfare committee about this.
